Greater Grand Rapids- Recreational

 

The Champions League is pleased to present the state's finest recreational soccer league.  All games will be played at the Michigan Field Sports Complex in Lowell, MI.  This ninety-six (96) acre complex is located along the flat river and offers twenty (20) small sided fields.

 

Individual registrations are taken through August 15th, 2007.  Teams are announced on August 22nd, 2007.  In the formation of teams, we do take into consideration carpools, buddies, and last season's teammates.

 

Player Fee: $65 per player.

Governing Body: US Club Soccer

Referee Fees: Included

Games per season: Ten (10)

2007 Fall Season:  September 8th- October 27th, 2007

2008 Spring Season:  April 12th- June 7th, 2008

Practices: One (1) practice per week.

Divisions: u6, u8, u9, and u10

Format: u6- 3v3 (no goalkeepers); u8, u9, u10- 5v5 (includes a goalkeeper).

3v3 Roster Size:  Minimum four (4) and maximum of five (5).

5v5 Roster Size:  Minimum seven (7) and maximum of eight (8).

Coaches:  Games and practices run by certified parent coaches.  All Champions League Select coaches are automatically qualified to receive their NSCAA State Diploma Course free of charge!  Most leagues require coaches to have a coaching qualification, the Champions League is the only league to offer a diploma course at no additional fee.
